pol·i·ti·cian
noun
a person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement within an organization.

Here’s some of what’s going to be discussed in the days ahead:
Syria/Russia
China/North Korea
Nationalism/Globalism

Common among them is a duality you could call The Now/The Ripple Effect. And behind all the specific issues is a broader and perhaps more important duality that our current administration needs to reconcile as it defines itself to the world: Impulse or Ideology?

For example, how can one claim to sympathize with gassed Syrian children, and even stage a retaliatory airstrike, while still attempting to ban Syrian refugees from entering the United States?

Question: What defines how a human being acts when a life and death decision presents?  Gut feeling or dogma?

Before you answer, remember that human being is a politician.
