It’s been almost exactly one year since the first Cooler Heads post.  I’ve done my best to remain true to the mission laid out there;  to provide a perspective on current events that helps people find their own center.

The intent from the start has been to make these posts evergreen, and to frame each post in a context that remains applicable to similar events as they occur. In the current political and social climate, it’s inevitable that familiar scenarios will play out over and over again. When those situations arise, all you have to do is revisit the earlier posts.  This is an ongoing conversation in which there’s no need to restate a concept that’s already been expressed.

As Cooler Heads moves into its second year, it is likely that the subject matter will broaden beyond the scope of the current American presidency.  That will be determined by the roll of the Tao, and I hope that whatever content appears here takes a form that adds value to the lives of those who read it.  To the current Cooler Heads Prevail followers, thanks for being part of the journey, and stay cool in 2018.
