My name is Mark. I’m not an expert.  I’m just a reasonably normal human being with a fair amount of common sense.

I call Cooler Heads Prevail “a holistic approach to media, current events and culture” because my intent is to step back from the day-to-day churn and fray of speculation, finger-pointing, and punditry, and try to frame events in a larger context.

I have no agenda other than a search for truth. I don’t want to stir the pot, I want to bring the boil down to a simmer. In other words, I want to help cooler heads prevail.
